Over the years, Christos has been committed to developing a series of radio documentaries
which—taking the cue from the pioneering work in this field by Glenn Gould—attempt
to blur the borderlines between the mediums of radio documentary and musical
composition. Two such works exist so far, both of them on Canadian themes.
These two documentaries have been created in collaboration with CBC
producers, broadcast by public radio networks around the world,
and have garnered prizes and other distinctions. The are:

FOOTPRINTS IN NEW SNOW
and
THE IDEA OF CANADA

The
QUATERNIO
project is a cycle of
four mixed media works
created in the early 1990's which
share thematic, textural and other ideas.

They are:

Pavillons En l' Air
for tuba (or double bass), percussion and digital audio playback.

The Birth of Venus
for double bass and digital audio playback.

From the Vanishing Gardens of Eden
for twelve violas and digital audio playback.

Of Threads & Labyrinths
for oboe, harp and digital audio playback.
