Homework exercises will be assigned on Fridays, collected on the following Wednesdays, and returned and discussed on the following Fridays. Articulation quizzes involve transcribing and pronouncing nonsense words using the sounds and symbols learned in class. The requirements for the project were discussed in class on Friday, October 20. The University Grading Practices Policy states that "[g]rades should always be based on the approved grade scales. However, students may find that on any one evaluation they may receive a numerical or letter mark that reflects the score achieved on the test or essay. The cumulative scores may not be directly identified with the final grade. Grades are final only after review by the divisional review committee."
Students with a disability or health consideration are encouraged to approach Tina Doyle, Coordinator, and/or the AccessAbility Services Office at 287-7560. They can also drop by the office, S-302B, inside the Resource Centre. The Coordinator is available by appointment to assess specific needs, provide referrals and arrange appropriate accommodations.
