The GSSA Handbook for new students has been updated for 2010. Check it out in PDF form.

Student Profiles

Remember to send your information to me (Matt) if you want to be listed under the student profiles section of this website. I'm looking for the following information:

1. Your name
2. Your year and degree (some people might just want to list “ABD” for this category)
3. Your office #
4. Your e-mail
5. Your website or online CV address
6. A biographical statement (there’s no length restriction)
7. Your research areas (listed with commas, not in sentence form)
8. Your dissertation title (or MA thesis title)
9. Your dissertation committee/academic supervisor
10. Your publications, conference presentations, etc.
11. Comprehensive Exams you've completed
12. The graduate courses you’ve taken
13. Courses that you've taught
14. A photo of yourself (JPG format preferred).

Feel free to provide as much or as little information as you want. Leave some categories blank if you’d like; I just won’t include them in your profile. Also let me know if there’s some category that you think I’ve left out and you’d like included.
