All About ME!

I am a technical/computing/research consultant liuving in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

I originally hail from Sudbury, Ontario, which is a mid-size (100K) city located in Northern Ontario. Sudbury's claim to fame of late is their re-greening project, which has made the city somewhat less barren, vegetation-wise. Many of the original white pines were cut down to help rebuild Chicago (you know, that place with the big fire a while back), and many more were killed by sulphur dioxide pollution emanating from the nickel-producing industry Sudbury is based on. Hence, the need to re-vegetate the many barren areas. Sudbury also boasts large Italian, Finnish and Hungarian communities.

I am a graduate of sociology at the University of Toronto. My main research interests are in the fields of drugs, drug policy, and crime and deviance.

I have been known to play bass guitar in a band called Blenderhead, which played loud, fast, and poorly. The performing side of me comes from an interest in campus and community radio, and indie music in general.  Visit my favorite radio station!
