|:1-8:| 1 (a) The two couples form closed circle, and circle CW, 16 walking steps.
9-16 (b) All take 2-hand hold with partner and dance 1 trippetrin away from opposite couple (19-20), 1 trippetrin towards opposite couple (21-22), and repeat (23-26), as in totur fra Thy.
9-16   All take 2-hand hold with opposite M/W, and dance 1 trippetrin away from other couple (19-20), 1 trippetrin towards other couple (21-22), and repeat (23-26), as in totur fra Thy.
17-24 (c) Couples facing in RLOD turn 1/2 turn CW (ie towards centre of the circle) to face in LOD. Each couple, arm in arm with partner, promenades in LOD, 8 slow walking steps.
17-24   All couples turn 1/2 turn CCW (ie towards centre of the circle) and, arm in arm with partner, promenade in RLOD, 8 slow walking steps.
On the last beat, those couples originally facing RLOD again turns 1/2 turn CW to take original position.
25-28 (d) Two-couple sets form closed circles, and circle half-way round, 4 walking steps.
29-32   Two-couple sets R-hand chain to first meeting with partner, 4 walking steps.
25-28   Repeat closed circle, 4 walking steps.
29-32   Repeat R-hand chain, 4 walking steps.
|:33-40:| (e) Waltz hold, the two couples waltz twice around each other CCW, 16 waltz steps
    Parts (b), (c), (d) and (e) are the same in all sequences.
|:1-8:| 2 (a) The two couples form an R-hand star and circle CW. 16 walking steps.
|:1-8:| 3 (a) The two couples form a two-hand star (front basket) and circle CW. 16 walking steps.
|:1-8:| 4 (a) The two couples form a closed circle and circle CW. 16 walking steps.
    The dance finishes with (4 e), but can also be danced with sequences as in totur fra Thy.

Note: this is part of a sequence of dances that [in Thy, traditionally,] were always danced one after the other. The sequence consists of: totur, tretur, firetur, halvfemtetur, femtur, tolvtur, and Dronningens livstykke.
