Formation: 4 couple square set. Head couples (couples 1 and 2) respectively have their backs to or face the music. Side couples: couple 3 stands on the side to the right of couple 1, and couple 4 faces couple 3.

Steps: chassé, chassé-croisé, pas de bas, walk. Unless otherwise specified, all steps begin with R foot.

1-4   Introductory notes.
5-8   Courtesy to own partner.
9-10 1 (a) Couples 1 and 2 dance towards each other with one chassé and 2 walking steps, finishing with a nod to opposite.
11-12 Couples 1 and 2 dance backward to place, 1 chassé and two walking steps.
13-14 M1 and M2 stand still, while guiding partner in an arc infront and to face them, with 1 chassé and 2 walking steps.
15-16 Couples 1 and 2 do a courtesy to partner, beginning to the left.
17-18 (b) Couples 1 and 2 drop hand-hold, and M and W individually dances to the R with 1 chassé (R L R), put L foot infront of R, and do a heel lift (croisé).
19-20 Couples 1 and 2 individually dance to the left with 1 chassé and a croisé, beginning with L foot passing own partner
21-24 Couples 1 and 2 take R hand hold with partner, turn once round CW, 3 chassé steps.
Couples 1 and 2 drop hand hold and dance backward out to form 2 facing lines with side couples, 2 walking steps: W1 is beside M3, M1 beside W4, W2 beside M4, and M2 beside W3.

1-4 (c) Lines dance advance and retire with 1 chassé and 2 walking steps in each direction.
5-8 All take two-hand hold with partner, and dance once round CW at/to original place, 3 chassé steps and 2 walking steps.
  2     Couples 1 and 2 repeat.
  3     Couples 3 and 4 repeat. In part (b) lines are formed with couples 1 and 2.

  4     Couples 3 and 4 repeat. In part (b) lines are formed with couples 1 and 2.
    The sequence ends with one clap on the last beat.
