Formation: 4 couple square set. Head couples (couples 1 and 2) respectively have their backs to or face the music. Side couples: couple 3 stands on the side to the right of couple 1, and couple 4 faces couple 3.

Steps: chassé, chassé-croisé, pas de bas, walk. Unless otherwise specified, all steps begin with R foot.

1-4   Introductory notes.
5-8   Courtesy to own partner.
9-10 1 (a) W2 advances to the centre of the set with one chassé and 2 walking steps.
11-12 M1 advances to face W2, 1 chassé and two walking steps.
13-14 M1 and W2 do a courtesy to each other, beginning to the left.
15-16 All turn to face own partner and do a courtesy.
While turning, M1 steps out to place.
1-2 (b) All women form R-hand star, with thumb-hold, and dance half-way round to opposite man, 2 chassé steps.
3-4 All men take advancing W's L hand in own L, place R hand on her waist, and turn her once round forwards (CCW), 2 chassé steps.
5-6 All women form R-hand star again, with thumb-hold, and dance half-way round to own partner, 2 chassé steps.
7-8 All men take partner's L hand in own L, place R hand on her waist, and turn her once round forwards (CCW), 2 chassé steps.
  2     W1 and M2 repeat.
  3     W4 and M3 repeat.
  4     W3 and M4 repeat.
    The sequence ends with one clap on the last beat.
