|1||(a)||M and W make fists, held at chest level, one hand infront of the other. Rotate hands quickly around each other, inner hand up, out, down and in, and outer hand down, in, up and out. Finish with pointing R forefinger out and up: "the thread is rolled up and pulled out".|
|2||Repeat, rotating hands in opposite direction, and finishing with pointing L forefinger out and up.|
|3||Jerk elbows backwards two times, while raising R knee: "the thread is tightened".|
|4||M and W clap hands 3 times.|
||:5-8:|||(b)||Starting with ML/WR foot, take waltz hold and dance 8 polka steps, turning CW as a couple, and moving in LOD.|
