    Dance progression
1-4 (a) Starting with ML/WR, 2 sidesteps in LOD, followed by 4 walking steps in LOD (skewed waltz hold to face in LOD), collecting feet on beat (4).
1-4   Repeat (a).
5-12   Repeat (a) in RLOD. Modify waltz hold by folding joined forearms (ML/WR) in towards chest. Waltz hold is now skewed to face in RLOD.
Repeat in RLOD a second time.
13-14 (b) Holding inside hands, 2 step-swings, starting stepping on ML/WR and swinging other foot (13), then stepping on MR/WL foot (14).
15-16   Turn full circle individually, M CCW (over L shoulder) and W CW (over R shoulder). 4 walking steps.
17-20   Repeat (b).
21-24 (c) Two-hand hold with partner, M facing out of circle, and starting with ML/WR foot, dance 4 walking steps towards centre of circle (M backwards, W forwards) (21-22).
Ditto return (M forwards, W backwards)(23-24).
25-28   Take waltz hold, 8 pivot steps in LOD. Note: Tanhuvakka gives 4 hoppavalssi steps turning CW, ditto CCW, moving in the LOD.
    Repeat from beginning as desired.
