Formation: open circle of couples, M with back to centre of circle, W facing partner. Fists on hips.
Steps: step-hop, walk, 'Swedish polska' (L (1), R (&), L (2), R (3), L (1), R (&), L (2), R (3) when turning CW; opposite footwork for turn CCW)

    Dance progression
1-4 (a) Step-hops: Facing partner, all dance 4 step-hops, beginning hopping on L and swinging R leg (with knee bent) in front of and across L. Repeat with opposite footwork. Repeat.
5-6   Karkelo: Beginning with L foot, all dance 4 walking steps toward partner, touching L shoulders (5 & 6). Step back on R foot (&), moving CW to partner's other side.
7-8   Pass partner by R shoulder and dance to opposite place. 4 walking steps. Finish with W with back to centre of circle, M facing partner into circle.
1-8   Repeat (a) to return to place.
9-14 (b) Polska: Take cross-back hold position (link R elbows and grasp partner's L hand with own R hand behind partner's back). Dance 6 'Swedish polska' steps, turning CW on the spot with partner. Drop hand-hold on last beat.
15   Turn on the spot away from partner (M turning CW, W turning CCW) with 3 walking steps.
16   Clap hands once on first beat (16:1).
9-16   Take cross-back hold position linking L elbows, and repeat Swedish polska steps CCW.
    Repeat from (a) as desired.
