Formation: any number of couples in a circle, M facing out of circle, W facing centre of circle.
Hold: polkka hold (ie waltz hold, with joined ML/WR hands on ML hip).
Steps: polkka, side-steps
Music:

    Dance progression
1-8 (a) Dance 4 polkka steps turning CW and moving in LOD, then 4 polkka steps turning CCW, moving in LOD.
Finish with M facing in LOD, W facing RLOD.
9-12 (b) Dance 2 side-steps out of the circle, with a stamp on the last beat (10:4), followed by 2 side-steps back into circle, with a stamp on (12:4).
13-16   Repeat (b).
    Repeat from (a) as desired.
