Formation: 4 couple quadrille , head couples have backs to or face music. Side couples stand to R of respective head couples. All have hands clasped behind backs.
Steps: hyllytystä (R back (1), close L and lift onto ball of foot (&), heels back onto floor (2), pause (&))

    Dance progression
1-4 (a) Head couples advance with 2 hyllytystä steps (1-2), and retire with 2 hyllytystä steps (3-4).
1-4   Head couples cross over, W passing on inside, 3 hyllytystä steps. At opposite place, W dances turning 1/2-turn CCW, while M turns 1/2-turn CW outside W, to finish with W on R side of M, facing into the set, one hyllytystä step.
5-8 (b) Head couples repeat cross-over to return to place.
5-8   All couples form closed circle, hands at shoulder height, and dance 4 hyllytystä steps, turning CW, so that side couples are now the new head couples.

    Repeat from (a) until all couples are in position as at start of the dance.
