November 12th, 8:45 p.m.

The clsss this morning voted in favour of changing the date of the second grammar test. It will take place in class on Thursday, November 19th, starting at 11:30 a.m.

November 5th, 9:30 a.m.

The make-up tests (for the mid-term test and the first grammar test) will take place on Nov 10th, strike or no strike. They will take place during regular class time in the regular class room.

October 31st, 10:45 a.m.

The make-up for the mid-term test will take place during class time on November 10th. Anyone who missed the mid-term on October 29th is excepted to be well enough to write the make-up on the 10th.

If you missed the first grammar test, you can write a make-up test also on November 10th during class time.

The readings/lecture schedule will change as follows:
November 3: Addison's essay
November 5: Under the Greenwood Tree, Part the First (the first nine chapters)
November 10: make-up tests
November 12: Under the Greenwood Tree, all

The Gilpin essay has now been dropped from the course entirely.

October 27th, 10:25 a.m.

All seminars are officially cancelled for this week.

The lecture on Tuesday and mid-term on Thursday will take place as usual.

October 26th, 9 p.m.

The mid-term test is still planned for October 29th.

Many people are sick. If you are too sick to write the mid-term, you should stay home.

I am tentatively scheduling a make-up mid-term test for November 5th during class time. I will confirm this in the next few days.

All seminar classes will probably be cancelled this week. Check the Nipissing portal for official notification.
