  • Whenever possible, students should do some reading BEFORE the lecture in which the papers are covered - things tend to make a lot more sense that way. In the table below, the papers to be discussed are listed in column 3, with the most important one listed first. So, for example, please read Feldstein (1995) before Lecture 2. (Full bibliographic references for the papers are in the course outline.)
  • To help you study, here is a sample exam and suggested solutions. That year, all students in the class had Ph.D. micro. This year, the questions will be adjusted a little to reflect the different mix of students.
  • The MA paper deadline is extended to Monday, Novemner 28. (Ph.D. should hand something in by early December,
