Take a break from all your phonetic transcription and your tree-drawing and your variationist sociolinguistic analysis, and come frolic with your fellow students! We will revel in our snacks and our drinks and our slightly off-colour games*!

Come to the Linguistics Lounge on the 4^th floor of Sidney Smith (take the elevator and then turn right and start walking!) around 6 PM to join the fun and make some friends!

*there will also be a variety of non-off-colour games**
**such as Balderdash and Apples to Apples***
***but we can make those off-colour too if you really really want
